You can also find some common questions and answers here on this Padlet. We have tried to answer as many questions as we were able at this time but please understand that much will be dependent on enrollment numbers.

Message from Mr. DeWitte (Music and Chorus Teacher)

Josh DeWitteDear Peabody and RAUC School community,

I want to share with you that I will be taking a leave of absence for the 2021-2022 school year to pursue an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. I have the chance to work at a cutting-edge international school in South Korea and to travel in Asia. When I return to Cambridge, I expect to have grown within, and to be a stronger teacher. The integrity of the music program at Peabody/RAUC is the work of my career, so I do not leave it, or any of my current students, easily, even for a year. I will miss each of them dearly but will return better for my travels.

Thank you for caring about the arts at the Peabody and RAUC. And thank you for your sincere support for our students, and for me.

Sincerely,
Josh DeWitte

8th Grade Families: Course Registration for the high school began yesterday!

Yesterday marked the first day of course registration for rising 9th graders! School guidance counselor Ms. Boadu sent an important email to all 8th grade students and families yesterday with some tips for registration. Please check your emails! Students have until Sunday, March 21st at 11PM to select their courses, but we highly recommend registering earlier so that we can troubleshoot any issues that may come up. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Ms. Boadu. She has been receiving a high volume of emails, so please be patient as you wait for a response.

RAUC TV - Season 2 Episode 4 & RAUC TV Website

View RAUCTV Season 2 Episode 4RAUC TV Season 2 episode 4 is our longest yet -- the school-only version was split into two episodes! Once again, everything is shorter than 3 minutes, and this episode includes work from 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, although the lineup is certainly 6th grade heavy once again. Season 3 is now underway, students can join us Tuesdays or Thursday after school even if they haven't signed up previously. Still happening remotely (at least for now). Want to catch up on old episodes? The RAUC TV website has them all!
