Letter to Caregivers
Dear CSUS Parents and Caregivers,
We write to you this weekend with much weighing on our minds and hearts following the news of this week's tragedy in Atlanta. At a time when our nation is witnessing a dramatic increase in incidents of anti-Asian racism and violence, our CSUS community has come together in solidarity, support, and healing. This Thursday, Cobra Den advisors led scholars in a discussion focused on helping scholars process their own feelings and emotions, and identifying what they can do to heal and help within their community. We continue to feel immense pride in the work our scholars and staff do every day to care for and support of one another. Our hearts and thoughts are with the Asian American Pacific Islander community here and across the country.
Full-Time In-Person Learning This Spring
CSUS is expected to begin offering full-time, five day a week in-person learning to scholars beginning Wednesday, April 28. Earlier this week, you received this video and these slides from Asst. Principal Sohn reviewing what we know about the learning models available to Upper School scholars.
The Caregiver Portal for selecting your child’s learning mode is now closed; if you still need to choose between in-person or continued remote learning for your scholar, or if you have you can contact Ms. Robinson or Mr. Adams. You can also call the CSUS Main Office at 617.349.3050.
As always, thank you for entrusting Cambridge Street with your scholar’s learning. We understand that you have choices regarding your child’s education, and we appreciate you choosing CSUS.
Peace,
Manuel and Christen

Just Eats Grocery Boxes
Many of our families are missing our monthly school-based School Markets and so are we!! To help us out, our partners at Food For Free are offering food boxes for families at 4 of the school Market sites. We are offering these free boxes to our free lunch families and they will be available at lunch pick-up sites twice a month. We are trying to figure out our numbers for distribution, so we NEED FAMILIES TO SIGN UP! Sign up here >>
The boxes have fruits and veggies, as well as a grain (such as rice) and a protein (such as beans). They are heavy (approximately 30 pounds a piece) so you will need a car or a cart to bring them home. You can sign-up for the site closest to your house!
Note: These boxes are also distributed at Walden Square, Newtowne Court, Roosevelt Towers and 808-812 Memorial Drive. Please contact your Residential Service Provider if you would like to pick-up there.
