Reading Room!
Have you seen the new Reading Room page on the library website? 3rd & 4th graders are invited to read the Cook Prize STEM book nominees and vote on their favorite (due before vacation!), and UE students have been working on virtual author rooms to share their recommendations for choosing your next book.
Tobin Snapshots
Have you ever read Dreaming Up: A Celebration of Building by Christy Hale? In our Room 283, we read this book for a lesson on engineering design, and all the children were fascinated by the multicultural celebration of building. Inspired by the architectural masterpieces from all over the world, students decided to use various recycling materials to create their own structures. Everybody in Room 283 is a gifted architect!

* Kenzie has designed a building complex with playspace on the roofs
* Enzo has completed a foundation and is planning to build a tall building
