Reminders for in-person learners:  Charge those laptops!

  • Charging Laptop Icon by Randy Pham from Noun ProjectGood news:  Students have been wonderful at following safety protocols--thanks for continuing to reinforce the importance of masks and social distancing.
  • Area for growth:  we’ve noticed a growing trend in students bringing lap tops to school with very low batteries.
    • We help as best we can but we actually don’t have extra chargers--we sent those all home with students!
    • Thanks for helping your student remember to plug in their laptop each night!

Spring Clubs Ending 4/16

Spring Clubs end 4/16

  • Because of the complexities of the April 28th expansion to in-person learning, we will sadly no longer be able to offer RAUC after-school clubs this year after this Friday, April 16th. Clubs have been a highlight for many of our students, so this has been a hard decision to make and we are sad with students and families that these will be ending for this year.
  • While RAUC clubs will not be offered, we know DHSP will be offering FREE after school outdoor activities in their ‘Spring in the Sun’ program (similar to Fall on the Fields) from April 26-June 18. Learn more and register here>>
  • All students and families can also find more information on after school opportunities here on these slides: ‘What’s happening after school?’.
  • We will continue to share more about opportunities as they come!

Social/Emotional Well-being
Tip of the Week

The days can seem long and hard to separate when they are often spent inside. Try to find something small (or two or three things if you can!) to celebrate each day. Even in difficult and stressful times, this can help to remain positive, while acknowledging loss and difficulties.
