Upper School Math Summer Programs

CPS Summer Morning Math (Rising grade 6, 7 & 8th grade students)

Virtual, July 6 - July 30, 2021 | 9AM - 12NOON
The upper school morning math program is designed for students entering grades 6 - 8 (current 5th-7th graders) who enjoy math, logic, and problem solving, want to boost their grades and enhance their understanding and confidence in math, and are interested in discovering the beauty of mathematics. This is a four-week program (July 6 - July 30), which will run 9AM-12 Noon, including live virtual sessions and independent activities.

CAMBridge Program (Rising grade nine students)
Algebra 1: July 6 - August 13 2021
In the Summer, this program will focus on providing a space for rising 9th graders to engage in Algebra 1 content (Summer 2021).
If you are interested in having your student participate in this program this Summer, please fill out this application form.

  • Once you fill out an application, we will confirm enrollment with a registration link, prior to the program’s start.
  • Our goal is to allow ANY and ALL rising 9th graders the opportunity to
    participate in working through these modules. There are other programs who will be utilizing our modules: Rise-Up, OSS. If your student is registered for one of these programs then they do not need to apply to the CAMBridge Program.

CSUS Music Programs Announcement

As we are nearing the end of the school year, we ask that all scholars return all musical instruments! This includes drumsticks and drum pads you received from Ms. Carmichael for General Music Class. Scholars can place their returned instruments in the bin located in either the Band or General Music Room. All instruments are due by Thursday, June 17th, we need to take an inventory and sanitize everything. Please direct all questions to Ms. Carmichael, Ms. Chanler or Mr. Watts.

Return Your Chromebooks!

All CPS PK-8 Students should return their Chromebook by the last day of school (June 23) or drop it off at the CPS Helpdesk Window at CRLS (corner of Felton St and Broadway) between 8AM - 4PM on June 24, 25, 28, 29, 30 or July 1 and 2. If your student is participating in a CPS summer program and needs their Chromebook, they can return it at the end of the program. There will be no charge for repairing or replacing damaged Chromebooks or chargers.
