Reminders for Field Day Next Monday, June 21st

Next Monday, June 21st 10AM-12PM, we will be having our outdoor field day for all our students including both those who are in-person and remote. Our current 8th grade student government members have organized some very fun activities!

Important things to note:

  • Students should remember to bring water bottles. We will be outside for around two hours, and it can get hot. It’s important to stay hydrated!
  • Masks are required for all students indoors.
    • Note: We’ll have extra masks available in case any student forgets to bring a mask and needs to go indoors to use the restroom.
  • Masks are optional for students outdoors.
  • We still have class as usual in the afternoon.
    • After the field day ends at noon, in-person students will continue with their regular schedule at school (lunch and the afternoon classes).
    • Remote students are expected to return to their homes for remote classes which start at 1:15pm. Students who requested lunch can pick up grab and go lunches and students who requested transportation should go to the front entrance of the school after field day to get on our school bus.

  • In-person students: you can return your instrument to Mr. Wroge or Ms. Phillips or the RAUC main office.
  • Families of remote students, you can drop it off at our school...
    • Anytime tomorrow or Thursday during the day 9AM-3PM. Please just ring the doorbell at the front entrance.
    • OR you can also drop it off before or after field day next Monday, June 21st 9-10AM, 12-1PM.

Shout-out to RAUC Musical Cast & Staff! (Poster of Muted Musical)Shout-out to RAUC Musical Cast & Staff!

Kudos to the talented RAUC students and amazing educators Josh DeWitte and Summar Elguindy for such a meaningful story and wonderful performances in our RAUC original musical Muted last Friday. Despite being virtual this year, the interesting story line, skillful editing, and inspiring songs kept the audience engaged throughout. The RAUC community is also grateful to the Visual and Performing Arts Department for all their support in making this virtual musical a reality! Feel free to add your own shout-outs here on this padlet!

Time to return library books!

Time to return library books! Please help your child look for school library books! Even if they're from elementary school, we want 'em back. They can be returned in the green Library Return bin by the front door, or to any teacher. Your child can check what they have out by logging into the library catalog with their Aspen account, or by asking Ms. Musher. If you have questions, you can also ask Sam Musher. Thank you so much for your help!
