Dear Families,
We did it! We made it through one of the most difficult and unprecedented school years yet! This past year was full of fear, change and challenge in our personal lives, professional lives and everything in between. I truly want to thank you for your support as we made impossible choices and found imperfect solutions. It is my profound hope that you and your family will b able to rest and rejuvenate over the next couple of months in preparation for September. As we look towards a new school year, we will return to some of the systems and structures that we used previously, however, we will also be re-envisioning and making changes that we hope will result in better outcomes for all our students. As always our school mission of developing bilingual - biliterate students who are culturally and critically conscious coupled with our Amigos Core Values of Compassion, Perseverance and Integrity will guide our work.

¡Lo logramos! Hemos superado uno de los años escolares más difíciles y con menos precedentes. Este año pasado estuvo lleno de miedo, cambios y desafíos en nuestras vidas personales, profesionales y en todo lo demás. Quiero agradecerles sinceramente su apoyo mientras tomábamos decisiones imposibles y encontrábamos soluciones imperfectas. Tengo la profunda esperanza de que ustedes y sus familias puedan descansar y rejuvenecer durante los próximos dos meses en preparación para septiembre. Mientras miramos hacia un nuevo año escolar, volveremos a algunos de los sistemas y estructuras que utilizamos anteriormente, sin embargo, también vamos a volver a visualizar y hacer cambios que esperamos que resulten en mejores resultados para todos nuestros estudiantes. Como siempre, nuestra misión escolar de desarrollar estudiantes bilingües y biliterados que sean culturalmente y críticamente conscientes, junto con nuestros valorescentrales de compasión, perseverancia e integridad, guiarán nuestro trabajo.

Computer and Supply Return
We are requesting that all students in grades JK-8 please return the device(s)
with charger to their school by the last day of school on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. If you can’t make it to Amigos by the 23rd, the CPS Helpdesk at CRLS will also be open for students/families to return Chromebooks, Hotspots and chargers from 8AM - 4PM on the following dates - June 24, 25, 28, 29, 30 and July 1 and 2.
The return of Chromebooks will greatly facilitate ICTS in assessing and
preparing these devices for the start of the school year.

Estamos pidiendo que todos l@s estudiantes en los grados JK-8 por favor
devuelvan los Chromebook con cargadores a la escuela antes del último día
de clases el miércoles, 23 de junio de 2021. Si usted no puede llegar a
Amigos para el 23 de junio, el CPS Helpdesk en CRLS también estará abierto para que l@s estudiantes / familias puedan devolver Chromebooks, Hotspots y cargadores de 8AM - 4PM en las siguientes fechas - 24, 25, 28, 29, 30 de junio y 1, 2 de julio.
Devolver los Chromebooks facilitará en gran medida a ICTS la evaluación y
preparación de ellos para el inicio del año escolar.
