Message from Christen Sohn

Good afternoon CSUS Parents and Caregivers,

November is here! We hope you are doing well, and that you and your scholars had an enjoyable weekend. Our November calendar is available here as well as on our website. Please see the important information below.

Upcoming Progress Reports
Believe it or not, the end of the first quarter is upon us! Progress Reports will be published to Aspen on Friday, November 19th; we will share detailed instructions about how to view Progress Reports in next week’s Tuesday Take Home.

Upcoming Holidays: Diwali and Veteran’s Day
We wish a Happy Diwali to those in our community who will be celebrating this Thursday, November 4! Cambridge Public Schools are closed for all scholars next Thursday, November 11, in recognition of Veteran’s Day.

Scholar Chromebooks are ready to take home!
All scholars will be receiving CPS laptops to take home with them. In order to receive the laptop, scholars will need a signed Upper School Device Agreement by tomorrow, Wednesday, November 10. Families can fill this out online at the CPS family portal. You or your scholar can also pick up a hard copy from the main office. Any scholar without a signed form will have access to a computer at school but will NOT be allowed to take the laptop home. Need help with getting internet access or finding more affordable options? Please contact Ms. Danen.

Please see the video for a tutorial of how to fill out the form online.

Scholar vaccination updates and schedule
See here for the most up to date information on scholar vaccinations, including timelines/deadlines, how to upload vaccine status, and exemptions.

Go Cobras! Have a great week.
Christen
