Friends of Haggerty
Thanks to your generous contributions, we met our winter goal of raising $10,000 for student enrichment! Teachers and staff will put it to great use for field trips, artist and author visits, enrichment supplies, and more. They and the students thank you!
If you want to join Friends of Haggerty - please reach out to Lissa.
Thanks to Ellis for drawing this thank you note!
Music Corner
Welcome to the Music Corner!
We’ve paused Haggerty Chorus for the month of January in order to minimize the spread of COVID. We’re hoping to start up again in February! Look in your email TODAY for the release of our recorded mini-performance.
The Musician of the Month of January has been revealed! Our MOTM is Chargaux, a Brooklyn-based violin-viola duo who met while studying at Berklee. They work outside the boxes, using instruments known for classical music to cover R&B and jazz, even performing on one of Kendrick Lamar’s tracks. You can see them perform here.
As always, please be in touch with any questions or ideas!

Winter Clothes Reminder
It's very cold outside these days, but we are still going out. Please send your children with lots of layers, gloves/mittens and boots. When there is snow on the ground, snow pants too.
We have a lobby full of winter clothing, if anyone needs anything. Feel free to ask Lissa if you need any winter clothing donations.
We want everyone to be warm and comfortable outside.
Thanks for your help!
