Message from Christen Sohn

Good afternoon CSUS Parents and Caregivers,

We hope everyone enjoyed a restful February break! See below for what’s new at CSUS.

COVID Updates
CSUS is implementing a new testing option that will allow our students and staff the opportunity to rapid test at home weekly.
This means all students and staff will now have the option to participate in two COVID tests each week: one at school and once at home.

  • ANY student can participate in the new at-home rapid testing program regardless of vaccination status.
  • THE TESTING PROGRAM IS VOLUNTARY. Families must opt-in through the CPS Family Portal.

Scholar Led Conferences
Scholar Led Conferences are an opportunity for your scholar to showcase their schoolwork from Semester 1 and discuss progress on their educational goals with you. Please reach out to your child’s Advisor or to Mr. Adams if you have not yet scheduled a conference.

What’s my scholar working on?
Don’t forget to check out what your scholar is up to! Grades 7 and 8 are posting weekly assignments in their homework calendars - see links below. You can also check out the 6th grade monthly newsletter for updates on what’s happening in 6th grade!
