Dance Party

Read Across America Day Ends with a Dance Party!
Yes, Read Across America is an annual nationwide event that takes place in March. Yes, we know that it is now May. But, this year, we set ourselves a goal of reading our way to the moon. Each page that is read and logged by participating students counts as 1 mile, which means it will take 238,900 pages read for us to reach the moon. Read more >>

End of the Year Kindergarten Activity Schedule

Math Olympiad Club Starts in 2015-16 School Year
Elementary schools across the city are starting Math Olympiad clubs next school year for 4th and 5th graders. The MLK School will offer the Math Olympiad one-hour a week during the school day. Learn more >>

Jack

Who's Who at the King School
Jack Reardon started his teaching career in 1976 at the, no longer open, Harrington School in Cambridge. He has been teaching Physical Education at The King School for 32 years. Mr. Reardon grew up in an athletic family. His father was a health teacher and coach at Cambridge Latin High School. Young Jack would often accompany his father to work and this sparked his interest in sports and physical education.
