Zoo Visit
On Tuesday morning, all of our Lower Elementary students and teachers boarded the buses and headed to the Franklin Park Zoo. They were met there by Marley O'Neill, one of our former teachers, who taught a class on adaptations. It was so much fun to walk around the zoo, and many of the students got to see a baby gorilla that was only two weeks old!
Book Swap
Books NEEDED for End-of-Year BOOK SWAP!
Time to clean out the bookcases! Please send in any children's books that you no longer want. The Swap starts on June 15th, so bring them now! Drop off books in the office or bring them up to the library. Library classes will participate during the week of June 15-19. All students (regardless of whether they bring in any books) will pick out a book to take home and keep. You may send in as many as you want. Books should be appropriate for 4-year-olds through 6th grade. No board books or coloring books please. Any questions? Email Jessica Gillis at [email protected]
