Help Needed for the Staff Luncheon
Appreciation Luncheon
Dear RAUC families, we need help celebrating our amazing 60+ teachers and staff! On Wednesday, May 15th from 12:30-1:15PM Friends of RAUC will host a Staff Appreciation Luncheon in the library. Last year was amazing. Let’s do it again! Please contact Karen Soroca with any questions you may have.

Please sign up below:

Please Note: We are also looking for a current 6th grade parent/caregiver to volunteer this year and learn the ropes of organizing the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon next year. The work commitment is not much and you will receive assistance in planning and organizing. Please email Family Partnership Coordinator Taraneh Ahmadi ([email protected]) if you’d like more information.

Deconstructing Stigma: Parent
Workshop at CRLS
On Thursday, May 2nd, head to CRLS from 6-7:30PM and participate in a workshop that, told through the eyes of its participants, boldly tears down the misconceptions of what those with mental illness look like. 1 in 5 Americans will experience mental illness in his or her lifetime. It is something that affects us all-if you are struggling with symptoms of an illness, or if you feel like no one would understand what you’re experiencing, this campaign is for you. From this positive and interactive presentation, participants will learn firsthand some of the common signs and symptoms, including depression and anxiety, and how to talk to your child. More information on the Deconstructing Stigma Campaign can be found here: https://deconstructingstigma.org.

Questions? Please contact Greta Hardina, CRLS Family Liaison: [email protected] View the flyer for the event!
