6th & 7th Grade Portfolio Pot-Luck Breakfast is Friday, June 7, 9-10AM
Mark your calendars! We are so excited to host our first-ever portfolio breakfast. Families and community members are invited to hear students talk about themselves and work they have chosen to show the story of their own learning. Students will be in advisories by their portfolios (on computers), ready to share their reflections. This should be a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate student learning and a year well-done! Please consider bringing a breakfast food or drink to share with others. Reach out to your student’s advisory teacher or Family Partnership Coordinator Taraneh Ahmadi (617.349.4060 x2041 or [email protected]) with any questions.
RAUC Musical, Feast, Premiers
Thursday 5/30 and Friday 5/31
This year's RAUC Musical is going to be delicious! Weaving together personal stories with stories from the community the cast has created a banquet of scenes and songs all about how food impacts our lives. Performances are on Thursday, May 30th & Friday, May 31st at 7PM in the Rindge Ave Auditorium. Tickets are $5. See flyer below and on our brand new message board at the front of the school.
Book Fair Volunteers Needed!
We will soon host our second annual Summer Reading Book Fair, this year as a full PreK-8 fair in the Peabody-RAUC Library! Fantastic Book Fairs, an independent company, will run the fair again this year, so expect the same excellent selection of current titles. The fair will be open May 31-June 6. You can also shop online at Rindge.fantasticbookfairs.com.
If you're able, we would LOVE your help -- especially during RAUC recess (12:30-1:15PM).
Sign up for your slot(s) here.
Contact library teacher Sam Musher, [email protected], with any questions.
Community Market this Thursday!
This Thursday, May 23rd, come on over to the Peabody/RAUC cafeteria for the monthly community market. Starting at 3:10PM and ending at 4. This week you will be able to pick sweet potatoes, salad mixes, daikon radishes, onions, carrots, beats, bananas, watermelon, spaghetti sauce, pasta, Mac n’cheese, apple sauce, cereal, peanut butter, cooking oil, milk, eggs, and chicken drumsticks. As always, don’t forget to bring your own bags! Food for Free volunteers will also be on hand to survey willing participants about their School Market experience.
Student Survey Before Year Ends
Earlier this year, many families participated in the Panorama survey to let schools know how they were doing. Now it is the students’ turn! To help CPSD better understand and support the experiences of all Upper School and High School students in this district, schools will be administering a survey to students in grades 6-12 before the end of the school year. Students will complete the survey online during the school day. Broadly, the survey will cover Social Emotional Learning and School Climate. Surveys will be completely anonymous revealing no student information. If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Jennifer Amigone, Director of Research, Assessment and Evaluation at [email protected]. If you do not want your child to participate in this survey, please contact your Head of Upper School/Dean as soon as possible. More information about the survey is available here. This information is also available in Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Creole and Spanish. Please let us know if you’d like a copy in a different language.

FRAUC Seeking Volunteers for Concession Stand
The RAUC school musical, Feast, will be performed on Thursday, May 30th and Friday, May 31st at 7PM. Please consider helping to stock and staff the concession booth at the play.
