Thanks Giving Drive
A group of enthusiastic 6th grade volunteers are leading our first ever Thanks Giving Drive, inspired by the donation drive of the Charity Club last March during Unity Week.
What: Bring in non-perishable food items, toiletries, new winter gloves, hats, socks, underwear
When: Tuesday, November 19 - Tuesday, November 25
Where: Donations collected in advisories
Who: Y2Y in Harvard Square, a homeless shelter run by youth, for youth
The volunteers hope to make a paper chain for every item donated, to hang at the top of the stairs as a way to see what we have contributed as a commUnity. Please help make this drive a success!

Social-Emotional Tip of the Week
As things happen in the world around you, it can be beneficial to have conversations with your student that helps them identify problems and brainstorm solutions. When adolescents work through the problem-solving process with an adult, they often grow their ability to think critically.
RAUC Winter Clubs & Sports
We are pleased to offer RAUC Club and Sports for our students. The Winter season will begin on Tuesday, Dec 3rd and end on Thursday, February 15th (apologies for an incorrect end date in last week’s newsletter!). All after school programs are scheduled from 3:00 to 4:00. Students will sign up for clubs in their advisories on Friday, Nov. 22nd.
Students will have access to a late bus at 4:00 which they will need to sign up for right after school in the main office. Late buses do not run on early release days and may be canceled due to inclement weather. Families can access the club options on our school website.
