8th Grade Trip to CRLS Rescheduled for Wednesday, December 11th
Last Tuesday’s snow day interrupted our plans to take our 8th graders to CRLS for a school tour and a chance to talk with high school students. This is step one of the 8th to 9th grade transition process. The trip has been rescheduled for this Wednesday. Students will take a bus at 9AM and return to RAUC in time for lunch.
Join Us for Wednesday's FRAUC Meeting
The meeting will be 8-8:30AM, followed by chat with the principal 8:30-9AM in room 204 opposite the RAUC Office. Come hear what is going on. An important topic is planning for the January 24th dance. This dance is sponsored by 6th grade families, so families of 6th graders are particularly encouraged to come.
Social-Emotional Tip of the Week
As things happen in the world around you, try to engage your student in conversations that help them identify problems and come up with solutions. When adolescents work through the problem-solving process with an adult, they develop the ability to think critically and problem-solve on their own.
Vision and Hearing Testing for
7th Graders
The vision and hearing is scheduled for 01/09/2019. This is the first full week of school after we get back from winter break. Attached is an opt-out letter for 7th grade families. Please reach out to nurse Anita Barandao if you have question.
