School-wide Field Day for Remote & In-person Students

  • To help remote and in-person students connect and build our school community up further before the fall, we will be hosting a field day outdoors at our school for all students on Monday, June 21st from 10AM-12PM.
  • Families of remote students:
    • Please fill out this form by Friday, June 11th to indicate if your child will attend and if they will need transportation to and from school.
  • Please note that this is a full school day and all students will still be expected to attend classes in the afternoon.

Water Bottle IconIn-person students: Reminder to bring your water bottles!

As the summer heat begins, it’s especially important that students make sure to bring their water bottles to school so they can stay hydrated. Families: we’d love your support in helping remind students to bring their water bottles; if you need assistance in getting a water bottle for your student, please just reach out to Julia Ho.

Reminder: Scheduling portfolio presentations and final listening conferences!

  • Icon: Listen by R?my M?dard from the Noun ProjectJust a reminder that your students’ advisors will be reaching out to you this week about scheduling a final listening conference with you and your student.
  • During this conference, your students will have an opportunity to present and reflect on their portfolios and you will have an opportunity to share your thoughts on how this past year went and your students’ summer plans.
  • For these reasons, this conference is especially important, so please look out for their communication and respond!

Student Council Elections this week

Photos of Student Elections PostersWe have many amazing candidates for our RAUC student council for the 2021-2022 school year, and starting today through Friday, rising 7th and 8th graders will have the opportunity to vote online for their preferred candidate. It has been especially energizing this past week to see so many fliers in the hallways and hear from the various candidates through morning announcements and videos and promos online!

Tech Corner

Just a reminder that students may now leave their Chromebook at school instead of bringing it back and forth! If your child wants to leave their laptop here, they should bring their charger in and give it to their teacher. If they'd prefer to keep taking the computer home at night and bringing it in charged every day, that is also fine!

Please also note that all computers and chargers will be collected at the end of the year. Any questions? Please email Sam Musher, Library & Tech Teacher.

Chromebooks

All chromebooks and chargers will need to be returned to the school prior to the last day of school. Please look for more information in the coming weeks.

Food & Nutrition Services Survey

If you could be the boss of your school kitchen, what changes would you like to see? This is your opportunity to be the Head Chef, and share your opinion on how to make school dining better! Your feedback is very important to the Food & Nutrition Services Department, so please take a few minutes and let us know your thoughts.
