Spring Unity Concert

unity concert
Huge shoutout around our successful Unity Concert! Thank you to…

  • Our student musicians who overcame anxiety and performed with pride and confidence
  • Our music teachers who inspired and supported our students and who worked behind-the-scenes to make this concert a success.
  • Our families for helping your child rehearse and for supporting them with any nervousness and for showing up in such numbers. Our students felt the love and appreciation of the audience.

NASA Astronaut and National Geographic Nature Photographer in Training Visit RAUC 7th Graders!

photographerRecently, two inspiring guest speakers visited RAUC 7th grade science students:

  • NASA Astronaut and MIT Professor Dr. Jeff Hoffman visited us virtually.
--Dr. Hoffman discussed zero gravity flight and our students' projects for the Zero-G flight sponsored by MIT Astro/Aero Dept.
--He also spoke with our scholars about his work as an astronaut with NASA.
  • Northeastern student and National Geographic nature photographer in training Jake Stout visited us in-person. Jake is also a former RAUC student!
--Jake talked about his adventures in the wild and how he has turned his passion into his work.
--He also shared his photos and students asked him about how he got such great shots (see photo on right).
  • Shout out to 7th grade science teacher Mr. Mahoney for helping bring such inspiring speakers and to our students who asked great questions!
